Bidding aggregate and paving

Boggs Township will be bidding aggregate and paving.

Bids will be due in the township office by 2:00 pm on June 6, 2017 and opened at the regular township meeting to be held on June 6, 2017 at 7:00 pm

Interested vendors can obtain bid forms by contacting the Boggs Township office.

 

2017 Budget

The proposed 2017 budget for Boggs Township has been prepared in draft form and is available for inspection at the township office. Office hours are 9 am until 2 pm or by appointment. The Board of Supervisors intend to take action on the proposed budget at a meeting to be held on December 6, 2016 at 7:00 pm.

The following taxes are proposed for 2017: Real Estate Tax 2.84 mills; Fire Protection Tax 1.66 mills.

Clean-up from flooding

Boggs Township in cooperation with the Centre County Commissioners and Newman Hill Inc. have placed dumpsters around the township for residents to use for flood damaged items. There is no charge for this service. The locations are:

  • Milesburg Fire Hall
  • At Pine Alley and Kifer Road intersection
  • Holter’s Crossing Road in McCartneytown area
  • Dell Street near Dollar General area
  • Boggs Township municipal building
