In 1971, the Boggs Township Board of Supervisors established the Boggs Township Water System. Its main purpose was to serve the interchange, now know as Exit 158 of Interstate 80.
CONSUMER CONFIDENCE REPORTS
The Environmental Protection Agency has created regulations for community water supply systems. One of those regulations is the annual creation of a Consumer Confidence Report. The Consumer Confidence Report is created by the Community Water System and distributed to its customers by July 1 of each year. Included in the Consumer Confidence Reports is information pertaining to the water source, levels of detected contaminants in the water, information on compliance with other drinking water rules and some brief educational information. Boggs Township prepares this report annually and copies are made available in the Township Office as well as below. |
